Tomatoes with mozzarella
Ingredients:
- Mozzarella in brine 1 packet approx. 130 g
- 2 medium-sized tomatoes
- Several leaves of fresh basil
- A teaspoon of olive oil
- Salt and pepper as required
Drain the mozzarella from the brine and cut into thin slices
Wash, dry and cut the tomatoes into slices - preferably with a saw knife so as not to crush the flesh
Lay the mozzarella and tomato slices alternately on the platter. Drizzle with olive oil, season with salt, pepper and basil leaves. Serve with fresh bread.
